Day Care Facilities GrowingWith the increase of two working parents in American households, the amount of day care facilities is growing. This month we look at the number of day care facilities per child by county. The chart below shows the top ten counties with the most day care facilities. Day Care Facilities GrowingWe created a ratio of the counties with a large number of day care facilities in relation to children under the age of 10. Only counties with at least ten day care facilities were included in the ranking. The map below also shows the counties with the highest amount of day care facilities. The darker green illustrates a higher ratio per child.
