Top 10 Markets for Book Reading

As the summer months continue, more individuals are taking time to relax and enjoy a book, or sometimes
even an entire collection. We have looked at the estimated amount spent on book purchases to determine which U.S. counties are at the top for book reading.

Growing Demand in GardeningThe counties with the highest level of dollars spent on books per household are shown in the darkest shade of green. The counties with the lowest level of spending on books per household are shaded with the lightest green. Finally, the top ten counties for book reading are identified in the accompanying chart.

Opening New Locations - Too Expensive to Guess and

I read a report in Crittenden that pretty much says it all to my way of thinking. A national sporting goods concept with more than 350 locations coast to coast “is beginning to acknowledge it may pull back a bit” when it comes to new store growth. While comp sales have begun to trend negative, this retailer says that the potential slow-down will not be because of weak sales. The chief concern is whether or not the quality centers they desire will come online in the next couple of years to support their desired expansion.
