Buxton Veteran Expands Territory To Include Texas

Buxton, the leader in customer analytics for the retail industry, announces the expansion of Amy Wetzel’s territory to include Texas. Wetzel is the senior vice president of Buxton’s CommunityID division, overseeing the entire western half of the country. Based out of the home office in Fort Worth, Wetzel has worked with more than 400 communities nationwide, aiding them in recruiting more than 20 million square feet of retail.
Wetzel has been an instrumental part of Buxton for more than six years. Her expertise working with municipalities includes redevelopment areas, town centers, mixed-use developments, urban villages and downtowns in large and small communities. Some of Wetzel’s clients include Forest Hill, Texas, Kennewick, Wash., Marysville, Miss., Rochelle, Ill., San Jose, Calif., and Evans, Colo.
“We are excited to have Amy take over the Texas territory,” says Harvey Yamagata, president of Buxton’s CommunityID division. “Amy has a proven record in helping our clients achieve their goals, and we look forward to her using her expertise here in Texas.”
In addition to her accomplishments at Buxton, Wetzel is also heavily involved in the Fort Worth community. She is involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in North Texas and has served as a board member for Junior Achievement. Wetzel has won a number of awards including Great Women of Texas, Woman of Influence by the Fort Worth Business Press.
