Todd Walls Appointed to ICSC Task Force

FORT WORTH, Texas (Feb. 09, 2006) Todd Walls, Executive Vice President of Business Development at Buxton, has been appointed to a three-year term on the International Council of Shopping Centers’ (ICSC) North American Research Task Force.

The 44-member task force is comprised of professionals and educators in the fields of market research and real estate. Companies with representatives on the task force include J.C. Penney Company, Inc.; Moody’s Investors Service; and Target Corporation. The purpose of the task force is to provide ICSC with strategic direction and advice on industry issues.

Buxton is the industry leader in customer analytics and retail site selection technology, providing strategic target marketing research services to major retailers, cities and economic development groups throughout the United States. Buxton pioneered the use of demographics, psychographics, drive time analysis and lifestyle character-istics for research purposes. In his 11 years with Buxton, Walls has helped develop a number of the company’s market research methodologies, including Buxton’s patent pending Drive Time Gravity Model.

Before joining Buxton, Todd worked in market research at Alcon Laboratories Surgical Products and Instrumentation divisions.
