Buxton Announces Sales Division Promotions and Restructuring to Meet Mounting Demand
Date:
September 25, 2007
FORT WORTH, Texas – Buxton, the leader in customer analytics for the retail industry, has announced several promotions and a restructuring of its sales divisions to meet mounting demand for the company’s services. Three divisions of Buxton – CommunityID, HealthCareID and CustomerID – have newly appointed senior vice presidents.
“We have seen extremely positive sales growth in all three divisions, and we’re expecting that to continue in the coming eighteen months,” said Tom Buxton, president and chief executive officer. “Through this restructuring, we’re aligning our sales divisions to meet our customers’ needs while rewarding members of our team who have shown tremendous amounts of leadership.”
The CommunityID division, which helps community leaders attract retail development to their cities, experienced a particularly sharp increase in sales in 2007. Within this division, Joseph Fackel and Amy Wetzel have been promoted from vice president to senior vice president, and Chip Rodgers has been promoted from assistant vice president to senior vice president. All three will report to Harvey Yamagata, president of CommunityID.
“CommunityID has been the big story for our company in 2007,” said Tom Buxton. “As a result, we’re planning to increase the size of the CommunityID sales division by 25 to 40 percent.”
CommunityID will be split into North, South and West territories, each overseen by one of the three senior vice presidents.
Buxton’s HealthCareID division, which offers site selection and target marketing for healthcare organizations, has seen increased demand as well. Matt Montgomery, formerly an assistant vice president in the CommunityID division, has been promoted to senior vice president of HealthCareID. He will also report to Harvey Yamagata.
“Matt was instrumental in opening up many markets for CommunityID, and we’re hoping that he can achieve similar results for HealthCareID,” said Tom Buxton.
The CustomerID division, which pioneered customer analytics for store site selection and targeted marketing for retailers and restaurants, has been split into three sales territories. Bill Stinneford has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president of CustomerID and will oversee the Central territory. Sid Newman, senior vice president, will head up the East territory, while Paul Schlesinger, senior vice president, will manage the West territory. All three senior vice presidents will report to Rich Hollander, president of CustomerID.
“Our expertise in customer analytics is helping organizations of all kinds gain a deeper understanding of their customers,” said Tom Buxton. “The more you know about your customers, the more success you can achieve.”
