Alternatives to Buying Local

Earlier this month we sent out our Community Matters Enewsletter with an article about Clovis, CA and their buy local campaign.

I came across an article today that discusses other alternatives to buying local.

What I found interesting is in both instances, the city and retailers are really focusing on the customer/shopper and giving them the right experience/incentive to spend their money locally.

In 2010 retailers are going to be focusing on innovative ways to get and keep customer coming in and spending money. I'm looking forward to seeing the creative ways they do that.
