How Will We Know That The Recession Is Ending - Part 2

Last week we posted a local outlook on when we will know that the recession is ending. Today on MSN, an article ran talking about what signs to look for. The article in its entirety can be found here: http://articles.moneycentral.msn.com/learn-how-to-invest/five-signs-of-the-recessions-end.aspx?GT1=33014#pageTopAnchor.

Highlights include watching the ticker on Tiffany's - people will start to spend money on jewelry again. It might take longer to get a seat in your favorite steakhouse in the near future. Fine dining establishments will start to see those $300 bottles of wine move again, instead of wines in the $100-$150 range.

And as we've said time and time again, those retailers and restaurants who understand which customers are loyal to their brand and how to market and cater to those consumers are going to see larger returns in the near future.
