Restaurants continue to hone in on analytics for growth

The latest casual dining restaurant operator to announce aggressive growth plans is Columbus-based Bravo Brio (restaurants include Bravo! and Brio Tuscan Grille). The company stated in an earnings call last week that they would be adding 50% to their restaurant count by 2018.

Bravo Brio's CFO, Jim O’Connor, also noted that winning restaurants put their stores in the right places, which is why they look at analytics and business intelligence when outlining their markets for expansion.
