Account Manager

The Account Manager role is ideal for people who possess strong consultative and sales skills to find innovative solutions for problems. We are looking for an energetic self-starter with excellent analytical, organizational and motivational talents effective in individual and teamwork situations. Must possess the ability to quickly learn new concepts and adapt to fast pace environments. The Account Manager will be held accountable in maintaining and growing the current revenue associated with existing clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior team members to match Buxton’s products and services to solve for the client’s most pressing business questions
  • Prepare senior team members with client business intelligence, meeting information and materials
  • Coordinate all sales efforts through senior team members and salesforce.com.
  • Minimal travel to client/prospects locations throughout the year with senior team members

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • College degree required or minimum 4 years’ experience selling conceptual services
  • Experience managing client relationships with mid-size company senior executives
  • Proven ability to understand business opportunities and translate those into high-impact solutions
  • Strong project management skills
  • Business-oriented, critical thinking, and strategic mindset
  • High level of initiative and works well in a team environment
  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Handles stressful situations and deadline pressures well
  • Plans and carries out responsibilities with minimal direction
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint - Salesforce.com experience is a plus
