Buxton’s public sector solutions provide city managers, elected officials, economic developers, and various department heads with tools and analytical insights that deliver more efficient government and boost the positive impact of local economic development initiatives. As a revenue-driving representative of Buxton’s public sector division, the Territory Sales Director must be a self-starting closer who can create and maintain a significant pipeline of business.

What you’ll do

Be an expert at positioning business value, selling technology enabled solutions, managing complex sales cycles, and building key stakeholder relationships within public sector governmental organizations
Close new business deals by understanding potential customers requirements and developing solutions; including providing technical resources; within the customer procurement framework at Buxton
Develop and maintain a consistent pipeline
Stay curious, informed and provide insight for potential marketing opportunities
Harness the Buxton technology and team expertise to demonstrate the power of Buxton customer intelligence to potential customers
Analyze and adjust qualification strategies with the team
Locate or propose potential business deals by contacting potential partners; discovering and exploring opportunities
Be a pro at continuously updating and maintaining our CRM database (Salesforce)
