Buxton Publishes 2017 Retail Real Estate Outlook
FORT WORTH, TEXAS (January 4, 2017) — Buxton has officially released its 2017 Retail Real Estate Outlook, an annual report that provides retail industry professionals with insights into market conditions. This year’s report provides an update on the state of the retail real estate market, key trends that are shaping the industry, and a ranking of hot markets based on Buxton client activity.
While past editions of the report featured a list of hot markets, this year’s report provides market rankings based on both past history and future potential. The New York, NY metropolitan area claimed the top spot for 2016 markets based on number of locations opened by Buxton’s retail clients, but the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX CBSA drew the most interest from Buxton retail clients using our SCOUT analytics tool to evaluate potential sites. The high number of site scores in Dallas-Fort Worth suggests that the market may claim the top spot for site openings in 2017.
“In a real estate environment that is changing rapidly, Buxton is committed to providing the insights that retailers need to make informed site selection decisions,” said Tom Buxton, president and CEO of Buxton. “We are pleased to offer this resource to industry professionals.”
