Ferguson, MO to Utilize Consumer Analytics in Economic Development Strategy

FORT WORTH, TEXAS (August 3, 2017) – Ferguson, MO, a city in the St. Louis metropolitan area, has recently partnered with Fort Worth-based Buxton to use consumer insights in its retail recruitment efforts. Ferguson will gain a better understanding of its current retail mix while also developing a successful economic development strategy for the future.

“Ferguson is taking an analytical approach to retail recruitment,” said Cody Taylor, director of sales for Buxton’s public sector division. “Buxton is excited to provide Ferguson with the data it needs on its journey towards economic development success.”

By becoming a Buxton client, Ferguson will have access to SCOUT®, Buxton’s proprietary web-based real estate platform, giving local leaders data and information at their fingertips to analyze the area.

Buxton has worked with more than 750 communities across the country to integrate data into economic development strategies. Client cities in Missouri include Moberly, Lebanon, Peculiar, and others.
