Santa Fe, TX Focuses on Developing Retail Potential

FORT WORTH, TEXAS, (January 28, 2016) — The City of Santa Fe, TX recently partnered with Fort Worth-based Buxton to support the community’s retail attraction efforts. Buxton’s advanced customer analytics will allow the City to identify the retailers that match the shopping and dining habits of consumers in Santa Fe’s trade area, and over the next three years provide data-backed verification of retail potential in the community.

By becoming a Buxton client, Santa Fe will have access to SCOUT, Buxton’s proprietary web-based real estate platform, giving local leaders information at their fingertips to analyze retail matches for different areas of the City.

“We look forward to recruiting retail developments that will best suit our growing community,” commented Jeff Tambrella, mayor of the City of Santa Fe. “We chose to partner with Buxton because of their expert analysis and proven success in shaping retail development.”

“Buxton is pleased to support Santa Fe’s targeted retail recruitment efforts,” said Lisa McCay, vice president of Buxton’s public sector division. “We have the knowledge and tools to greatly assist Santa Fe in identifying key retailers that would best support its economy.”

Buxton has worked with more than 700 communities nationwide to implement retail development strategies. Other client cities in Texas include Sugar Land, Carrollton, Lago Vista, and many more.
