FORT WORTH, TEXAS, (February 26, 2016) — The City of Middletown, OH has entered into a partnership with Buxton to help strategically expand the City’s retail presence. Buxton’s retail expertise and consumer analytics will allow Middletown to identify the most promising potential retailers for the area.
Middletown will utilize customer insights that go beyond demographics to present a convincing case to retailers seeking growth opportunities. Buxton’s proprietary web-based real estate platform SCOUT will give local leaders the ability to analyze retail matches and support development decisions.
“Middletown is a growing and thriving community,” said City Manager Doug Adkins. “We’re pleased to partner with Buxton to further grow our retail sector.”
“Buxton is excited to assist Middletown in their retail recruitment efforts,” said Dennis Maher, director of sales in Buxton’s public sector division. “We will help city leaders identify market opportunities to present to retailers, enabling them to recruit the retailers that best meet shoppers’ needs.”
Buxton has worked with more than 700 cities nationwide to implement retail development strategies. Client cities include Fayetteville, NC; Sevierville, TN; Cedar Rapids, IA; and many others.
