An automated site score model is one of the five primary types of site selection models that Buxton provides. These pre-built models are currently available for a growing list of service lines and facility types in the healthcare industry.
Like our traditional enhanced site score models, the automated site score models use variables selected based on Buxton’s analytical and healthcare industry expertise. However, your actual patient data is not integrated into the model – reducing the need for a data transfer or model development process. These models are based on variables that fall into three categories: patient value, competition, and area draw.
Because these models are pre-built, they can typically be configured in your SCOUT application within a few days.
The automated site score model is deployed to SCOUT for on-demand access. When you use the model to score a site, the model generates a site score report. Each report will show you the site’s overall benchmark score, model variable scores, and the minimum and maximum scores of sites used in the benchmark analysis so you can better understand the site’s real potential. A score above 100 means that the site is better than average.

Buxton provides: Competitor locations, healthcare supply and demand data for the relevant service line/facility type, typical consumer profile, area draw variables, and other variables selected based on industry experience
If desired, Buxton will work with you to set up a data feed to keep your location and consumer data up-to-date in the platform.
