Fort Worth, Texas (January 20, 2020) — Buxton is pleased to welcome Julie Glover as a professional in residence in the company’s public sector division. In this role, Julie will provide peer-level advising to Buxton’s public sector clients on topics including downtown development, redevelopment, tourism, and business expansion.

Prior to joining Buxton, Julie was the Economic Development Program Administrator for the City of Denton, Texas, for 23 years. She managed downtown development and the Downtown Tax Increment Finance Zone (TIRZ #1). She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a Master of Business Administration degree, both from Texas Woman’s University, and has a Professional Certification in Downtown Management from the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
Julie is a past recipient of the Texas Historic Commission’s Anice B. Read Award of Excellence in Community Heritage Development, a past president of the Texas Downtown Association, and was awarded the 2015 Texas Downtown Association’s Susan H. Campbell Award for Professional Excellence.
