FORT WORTH, TEXAS, (November 17, 2015) — The city of Kent has entered into a partnership with Buxton to strengthen their already vibrant economy through the implementation of a retail development strategy. Buxton’s advanced consumer analytics will help target the retailers that will be the best fit for the community of Kent.
By partnering with Buxton, Kent will utilize the same advanced consumer insights relied on by retailers for site selection decisions. Buxton’s proprietary web-based real estate platform SCOUT® will give city leaders the ability to analyze development options and provide market intelligence to existing local businesses.
“We are excited to further develop Kent’s retail sector,” said Ben Wolters, Kent’s economic and community development director. “Buxton’s customer analytics and retail expertise will help us identify key retail gaps in our community and will guide us toward the best shopping options for Kent’s residents and visitors alike.”
“With our growing population and strong job base, we believe Kent is a strong contender for new retail investment,” Wolters said.
“Buxton is pleased to support the retail development efforts of Kent,” said Lisa McCay, vice president of Buxton’s public sector division. “We look forward to helping the city recruit through our advanced analytics.”
