FORT WORTH, TEXAS, (January 13, 2015) — The City of Angels Camp, California, today announced that it has entered into a partnership with Buxton to help strategically expand the City’s tourism and retail markets. Buxton’s best-in-class customer analytics will allow Angels Camp to better understand the shopping and dining preferences of both visitors and residents and to identify the most promising potential retailers to attract to the area.
While retail economic development programs have traditionally relied on basic demographic information, Angels Camp will utilize customer insights that go beyond demographics, presenting a convincing case to retailers seeking growth opportunities. Buxton’s proprietary web-based real estate platform SCOUT® will give local leaders the ability to analyze retail matches and support development decisions that benefit both residents and visitors.
